Our company is driven by the experience and expertise of Mark A. Plummer, the owner and President of Chestnut Petroleum. Mark formed Chestnut Petroleum in 1994 as an independent oil and natural gas company. Mark is a licensed Operator with the State of Texas with over 26 years of oil and natural gas production engineering and exploration experience.

Chestnut Energy Partners is the exclusive broker-dealer for Chestnut Petroleum; and as a registered broker-dealer and member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA, formerly the NASD), Chestnut Energy Partners is held to the highest standards of disclosure and is subject to periodic audits by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Texas State Securities Board and FINRA.
